Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest
Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a home for Scientology religious services and community programmes. The anniversary featured a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.
Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted activities focused on drug education, news euromillions human rights, humanitarian service and dialogue between religions. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
